NoVA is a pioneer in the development, design and implementation of international intervention for peace to bring aid to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination by race, religion or political ideology. With experience in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, NoVA works in cooperation with civil society and victims of armed conflict with numerous international networks, campaigns and initiatives of civil society in Europe and worldwide:

1. Promoting international action in support of peace.
NoVA promotes international action for peace by providing aid to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination by race, religion or political ideology. It also encourages the use and study of civilian rather than military strategies to defend international legality, equality and justice, strengthening the initiatives of people who suffer violence and can contribute to overcome. In cooperation with Nonviolent Peaceforce and the European Network for Civil Peace Services, we conduct international conferences and create materials to encourage institutions to promote the creation of an infrastructure for peace based on the promotion of a Civil Peace Services (SCP) .

2. Promote policies and practices of our institutions in the service of peace.
As a committed and politically independent, NoVA provides innovative ideas, analysis and publications that want to influence policies and practices of state and non state actors in Europe and other international forums in promoting the construction of an infrastructure service security and an external action for peace. We encourage the authorities and civil society to support the civil and nonviolent strategies in place in several international conflicts. We use the same tools to encourage the media to improve their coverage of nonviolent movements.
