Send to friendThe overall objective of NoVA - Nonviolence in Action is to promote international interventions for peace and human security by providing support to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination by race, religion or political ideology.
The NoVA's goals are:
To promote international interventions for peace and human security. NoVA offers support to civil society in conflict areas encouranging action directed to violence prevention, peacebuilding, mediation and nonviolent conflict transformation. NoVA encourages the use and study of civilian strategies, rather than military, to promote human security, international law,equality and justice through interventions directed to strengthen the initiatives of the people who more suffer violence and more can help to overcome it.
To influence the foreign policies of the European States. As a committed and politically independent organization, NoVA promotes innovative ideas, analysis and creation of knowledge to influence policies and practices of state and non state actors in Catalonia, Spain and international forums in order to help building a global infrastructure for human security and peace.
