Among the outreach activities being undertaken, especially now NOVA supports two campaigns linked to the problems in Iraq and the Occupied Territories of Palestine.

Palestina al Cor (Palestine in the Heart - www.alcor.palestina.cat/) is a campaign of solidarity with the Palestinian people that began in late 2007 on the occasion of 60th anniversary of the Palestinian Naqba (creation of the State of Israel) and has organized various events. This initiative, driven consortium between NoVA, ACSUR Segovias and the Palestinian Community in Catalonia, is a bet on the networking of organizations working on awareness raising, reporting and advocacy on behalf of the Palestinian people. The activities are aimed at strengthening the advocacy work of local groups of solidarity with Palestine by organizing a seminar, strategic thinking on solidarity with Palestine and the realization of an advocacy campaign aimed at people in general.

The project also aims to generate accurate and timely information to publicize the situation of violation of international law and human rights of the Palestinian people (creating and publishing a study of three design magazines monographic realization of a video production of materials number, etc.).. Among the entities involved in the campaign are Associació Catalana per la Pau, Ciemen, Consell de la Joventut de Barcelona, Nous Horitzons Foundation, the Human Rights Institute of Catalonia, Moviment per la Pau, Nexes, the International Civil Service, Sodepau and Xarxa Palestina.

Campaign for International Solidarity with LaOnf Nonviolent Network (iraqnoviolencia. wordpress.com) is a show of support to hundreds of organizations and individuals who are working in nonviolent ways to build peace, free from occupation and violence. This gesture also represents the strengthening of global civil society that a growing fight against injustice and promote human rights across borders.

This campaign was launched in October 2008 to gain the support of organizations, entities and individuals in our society and create opportunities for cooperation with the nonviolent activists and organizations in Iraq. To this end, the campaign sought to communicate the nonviolent actions in Iraq by the organizations of the Network LaOnf (www.laonf.net) during the 3rd Week of Nonviolent country, between 10 and 19 October 2008. In those days were dozens of nonviolent actions in the streets, hospitals, schools, plazas and other public places in 18 provinces of Iraq, to promote nonviolence as the most effective strategy to transform conflict and build an occupation-free Iraq which protects the human rights of its citizens. The violence in Iraq is the third way is to uncheck the collaboration with the occupier and the armed resistance.
